My Academy at Posh - the way to do it! When I was the Peterborough United Academy Director 1993-2001 from almost nothing on a tiny budget we built an amazing Academy. Why can't it be done today? ENGLISH ACADEMIES - a waste of money? Why do so many clubs have Academies at great expense but from them produce no actual players? What is the point of them? In the Premiership so many "products of our youth policy" were actually bought when the players were aged 16-18. Any rich club can do that.
