Heute bestimmen die Untersuchungen von Biopsien und OP-Präparaten den Arbeitsalltag des Pathologen. Seit 1992 untersuchen wir als niedergelassene Pathologen Zell- und Gewebsmaterial, das von Ärzten verschiedener Fachrichtungen eingesandt wird. Bis am Mikroskop eine Diagnose erstellt werden kann, sind mehrere Bearbeitungsschritte notwendig. Hier stellen wir aus morphologischer Sicht einige typische Krankheitsbilder vor. Hier führen wir histologische und zytologische Untersuchungen von Biopsie- und Operationsmaterial, Punktaten und Abstrichen durch. Unsere Einsender sind überwiegend niedergelassene Ärzte, wobei bei den Facharztgruppen Gastroenterologen, Dermatologen, Chirurgen, Gynäkologen und Urologen im Vordergrund stehen. Seit 2006 ist unsere Praxis in das Mammographie-Screening eingebunden.
