Evan's Historical Fantasy World. Saturday, December 5, 2009. The Hermetic Closure of Coffins. So for the last week or so I have been obsessing over Napoleon. Yes, it is a constant in my life to love the man, but every once in a while I get a little more focused. Sophomore year it was his exile and time in St. Helena that fascinated me, then I was into his childhood and time at school, and now, his tomb. http://historicalfantasyworld.blogspot.com/2009_10_11_archive.html

Evan's Historical Fantasy World. Friday, October 16, 2009. Because I Have No Camera. Grayson made us a beautiful meal of tomato, mozzarella and basil salad, toasted baguette with goat cheese, honey and raisins and then goat cheese and spinach wrapped with fried eggplant. Amazing. View of my room from the living room. That hand is that of amazing Christina Von Koehler, the smartest professor in all of Paris. And though I can't be sure, she looks as though she has the softest skin in the city as well.

Evan's Historical Fantasy World. Saturday, November 14, 2009. I'm Back. And I'm in Marseilles. I was running, sweating, errand-ing before I left. From class to pick up my newly-fixed computer, home to pack and shower and then I just HAD TO have drinks with a few friends before I hopped on the train. My information on the computer was somehow not lost, which they told me it would be. I love you . But wait, there is more. Posted with you in mind by VanWatz. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://historicalfantasyworld.blogspot.com/2009_10_18_archive.html

Evan's Historical Fantasy World. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Now I am going to tell you something I love. It's those little moments of re. Realization in life. Those things that are wonderful but that happen just. Often enough to forget about them in between experiencing them (and with my memory this happens quite frequently). But these are my latest re-realizations:. And this is amazing because every year. But then, that first day of cold hits and I re-love it. It smells so good! The air tastes different!

I Have a Crush on Paris. 8212; kevingotkin @ 00:41. Jonathan Lethem has a very funny short story in which he personifies a blog, playing on the drama of starting, maintaining, and falling out of blogging. Let me add to the proverbial pile from which he culled: I’ve disappeared for a little bit. Mainly because I’m lazy, but also because I’ve been swamped with work. That said, highlights! 1) Berlin By Myself. I decided to take a little trip on my own. But alas (thankfully? 2) That Time I Met French Hackers.

I Have a Crush on Paris. The Imagination and Poetry of Speaking French. 8212; kevingotkin @ 02:03. A couple of weeks ago, I sat in a friend’s apartment reading a writing sample she had submitted for an internship. Katie makes me slap my knee on a daily basis. And her writing sample was funny. But she hit on something particularly sophisticated in the pursuit of a cutesy (yet well-crafted) one-pager. She started with the way French people describe the inside of a chocolate as the. Is a french word that is...

I Have a Crush on Paris. An Ode to the American Library in Paris. 8212; kevingotkin @ 20:28. I was a little worried about going to the American Library in Paris at first because I was scared I would fall in love with it, want to study there all the time, and only meet other Americans there. That pretty much happened, but it’s not as bad a thing as I thought. Paris has no American cultural center. NYU is trying to put its flag down on that, but for right now, Paris is Paris is French, get it? I imagined b...
