Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking. Sunday, October 24, 2010. A Visit With History. Our year is coming to an end for ECBS. With the weather becoming colder and unpredictable, its difficult to work on the stones. This is also a time for us to wind down and take a break after the many activities and events over the past year. So many people say they do care, but then they fade away, like so many memories, and you have to wonder why? Why do we keep doing it? Ith a thick polish accent, her eyes, even a...

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking: September 2010

http://www.historicallyspeaking-ecbs.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking. Saturday, September 11, 2010. The streets of this place are the safest in this town. The residents are quiet, respectful, and eternal. The well trimmed lawns and the tall, aged trees give the area a cool and calming effect. The combined experiences of the oldest and youngest here would fill many book volumes and still some stories would be missed. A mother and young woman stand near another corner. The two are close as family comes. Their lives have been ...Farth...

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking. Saturday, November 18, 2006. I love Evergreen Cemetery. There are so many interesting things to learn about. My favorite area is the pioneer section. Sassy. November 19, 2006 at 9:42:00 AM PST. I must agree the pioneer section is one of my favorites as well or any of the older sections. There is so much history there and each tombstone is pretty unique and one of a kind. So glad the cemetery as much as you do. We need kindred spirits like you.

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking: Pioneer Monument Make Over

http://www.historicallyspeaking-ecbs.blogspot.com/2010/05/pioneer-monument-make-over.html

Evergreen Cemetery Historically Speaking. Saturday, May 8, 2010. Pioneer Monument Make Over. ECBS utilzed unused burial vaults in the most unusual way. These vaults were interred along side of the pioneer monument to create planter boxes. Native plants, such as our state flower, the Columbine, will soon be blooming. Ed of the Rotary Club is removing the stray weeds that have gown up. I hope our plants grow as well as the weeds! Mary carefully places each, soon to be, flowering plant. Evergreen Cemetery B...

Historically Right

I want to acknowledge the champions of liberty-the great philosophers, scholars, visionaries, and statesmen-on whose shoulders we all stand; the hero warriors who gave birth to America and continue to protect her; and the American people, who have contributed so much to mankind. Mark Levin states this in his acknowledgement in his book. His statement speaks for me. THE FIRE OF PATRIOTISM AND CONSERVATISM IS HERE! The Declaration Of Independence. Thursday, June 7, 2012. What a difference three years make. The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Dress, Evening. That's right. I'm coming back and with a bang. I've done so much historical research lately that I need a place to put it all. It should be fun and interesting. I'm currently writing a novel centered around the Lusitania. So that will be the focus for a little while, unless of course, I find other interesting things as well. You've got to love how the fashion and the times changed from the Titanic.
