Sunday, August 16, 2009. This weekend has been a series of realizations. My parents are getting older. My "free" weekends have officially ended. My classroom is too close to the nurse's office at school. No matter how hard a person tries, there is no way everyone is going to be happy by a decision made. One of those rare days.

The many adventures of Christina. Thursday, August 27, 2009. I signed up last night to run a half marathon through Chickamauga battlefield. I am super excited! I actually have a relative named James Beard who fought, died, and is buried there. So, that kind of makes it even more exciting to be able to run the fields he fought so hard on! And it looks like I may be running the Disney half marathon as well with my cousin's wife. That will be so much fun! So, there's my excitement! Wednesday, August 26, 2009.

Sunday, July 10, 2011. One of the best parts about our move is that we now only live under an hour and a half from my sister Carla and her family. we have made several trips to her house to go visit and swim. It is so much fun to see the cousins play together, and of course I love seeing sister! Dallin is getting us all wet with his water gun and the older kids had a ball swimming. Uncle Danny gave dallin a car and he wouldnt let it go, but he was so wiped out from all the fun! Jamie and john Godwin.
