Historic Bakersfield Vermont — Chartered in 1791

I am told this is an example of a set of Leyden Jars that were used to teach Brigham Academy students about electricity. I am not sure of the exact date of this piece but if anyone can tell us more about it we would LOVE it. Leyden jars were invented in the mid 1700’s at the University of Leid . MrAlbrecht also donated this photograph of the inscribed boulder that marks the site of the Battle of Cedar Creek. The Bordeau family (anglicized to Bordo), were the earliest settlers in the tiny 19th century...
