The Historic Florida Keys Foundation receives ongoing financial support from Monroe County, in exchange for assisting their Historic Preservation program. The Tavernier Historic District. Historic Florida Keys Foundation staff also traveled with a delegation from Monroe County to Tallahassee to advocate for the preservation of the Old Seven Mile Bridge. The Historic Florida Keys Foundation has an agreement with the City of Key West to provide preservation services for the Cemetery. Click here for photos of the wonderful examples of symbolism in the monuments and plots at the Historic Key West Cemetery. Foundation staff offer walking tours of the cemetery twice a week. The Historic Florida Keys Foundation leases four historic state owned properties: Old City Hall, The Armory, Truman Little White House and the Oldest House. The Preservation Board spearheaded the restoration of Key West's majestic. Culminating in the re-dedication of the building in 1991. The Foundation maintains its offices here. In 2009, the first floor of Old City Hall was completely renovated. Windows were added to enclose the space downstairs.
