In year 9 pupils study a range of topics, aimed at broadening their knowledge of local, national and worldwide history. This year pupils will study:. The causes, key events and the end of World War One. Factors that led to the granting of Women's Suffrage and rights. The rise of Hitler and the road to WW2. The key events and turning points of WW2. The campaign for Civil Rights in America. The search for equality in 60s Britain. Looking at Women's rights, immigration and poverty.

Students visited the Forum in Norwich to celebrate the launch of the ITN Schools News Report. Rosie Grant in Year 11 was a winner, following her research into stories of World War One. Students also were given the opportunity to visit the Norwich Castle museum and handle objects from the War. Students from across the Trust visited the Magna Carta in 2014. This was followed up with a day of activities which enabled students to create and present their own manifestos, sharing their vision for the future.
