Thursday, October 18, 2007. Sedentary Vs. Nomadic Chart. Having trouble - here are some definitions to help you out. This is where people have no perm. home and move around from place to place (oasis to oasis) looking for resources (usually in the form of water, food, and grazing lands for their herds). Camels are their best friends - and they travel in caravans (usually as a tribe). There is interaction between the two - nomads will come into towns to trade for goods - also seeking water and shelter.
