History of Quilts - Home
Quilting in Colonial America. Quilted bed coverings were rare in early Colonial America. These few beautifully quilted wholecloth quilts were found in the homes of the wealthy. This leaves us wondering what ordinary folks used to keep warm on cold winter nights. The information for this period is sketchy. As every day bedcoverings would have been used until they were worn out we have to turn to letters, journals and inventories for most of our information. Course, nappy coverlets used for mean beds.

The history of racing games. The history of racing games. Racing game friends, I have been away! Apologies i never completed the uploading of the PDFs back in wow, 2007! Well i’ve just updated about three pages and there’s another three to come later this week. They’re not updated as such, just finally uploaded. I hope my McRae pages make him or his family proud, RIP Colin. What spurred me on? Happy reading if you like this kind of thing. Lancecarter@gmail.com should anyone wish to get in touch.
Centre for Radiological History
The support he provided us, as a wise and experienced friend, and seed funds from AMS to match the grant we had been given by Dr.J.Kelton, the Dean of the Medical Faculty of McMaster, let us set up the Centre and launch its activities and research. In the following two years we became friends. As I shared with Bill my plans and thoughts, he advised, guided, convinced. We will find the way to ensure that the memory of Dr. Bill Shragge will be maintained through all the years of activity of our Centre.

The History of Radio Randy
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. You spelled Laser wrong! Back to the History of Radio Randy, but I wanted to share this picture of our recent visit to Richmond for Carter's Baptism. Vicky is about half way thru Chemo-Therapy and hanging in there. It's tough and grueling and it is no fun to feel bad most of the time, but we're looking down the road to it being over and hoping for the best. I don't want to be too unkind to Doug, but clearly this was a mismatch. We were a street fighting station. We all love...This ...
History of Rags
Saturday, November 28, 2009. Haunted Paris Part II (elegiac couplet). La Pyramide Inversee, I.M. Pei's upended pyramid in the underground mall at the Louvre, and a construction site in the Montmartre section of Paris share a moment of structured negativity. The Pei construction (above) operates as an inverse tomb, while the vanished apartment building (below) functions plausibly as a mausoleum to architecture. Labels: Recent travel photography (Paris). Wednesday, November 25, 2009. How a statue works.
