Dud Plummer, 2005. Dudley (Dud) Gordon Plummer. Was born 28 December 1925 at Tweedvale (Lobethal) and died on 22 October 2014. Dud is the eldest son of Henry (Dick) Plummer and Doris Libby who were originally market gardeners until they purchased their first property with apple trees in 1947 next to the Forest Range oval. About 170 people joined us at the Lenswood Primary School to celebrate 100 years of the Mission Hall. The cornerstone was laid in 1913 and the official opening was held in 1914). June 10, 2013. The hills and gullies of this region were heavily wooded, mainly with Stringybark trees. Licences for cutting timber bought the first people to this region. Some of these timber cutters and sawyers later purchased land, settled and formed the basis of the Forest Range and Lenswood families.
