We still can’t believe how quickly two years have gone by (after the first three months, that is…). He got to have a special celebration with his class at school, and Bobbie even came! He then got to have a special birthday date with Jen, who took him to play while I had a meeting at school. I wish I had a picture of this little outing. But he LOVED it.

Charlie got to call on a special lady friend, Polly Mayfield, while we were in Birmingham for a wedding. These two are only four days apart! They discovered that they share a love for Elmo. Unfortunately, he wanted to steal all her fun toys. A true highlight of the spring has been getting ice cream, especially with Aunt B.

Skip to primary content. June 25, 2013. So Aunt B is 100% responsible for every one of Charlie’s Halloween costumes to date. This year he was Curious George and she The Man in the Yellow Hat. How much love is that? I have only one picture of Baby Helen from this her first Halloween, which was also her 2-week birthday. She didn’t have a costume and spent most of the evening asleep. Poor 2nd child. Charlie, on the other hand, was living it up with his sweet buddies Peter and Oliver. What a fun Halloween!

He got to spend a few days in Rome with Pop and Bobbie, just for fun. He bonded with their dog Ginny, swam in the pool, and had everything he could ever want. And of course his sweet grandparents! He came home a true farm boy….

Sunday: super bowl means no pizza but ordering The Mill instead, whose local focus and delivery are double winners for us. Monday: Egg, Ham and Spinach Sandwiches on Ciabatta.
