Dave's Running?: I did it!
http://ctdave.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-did-it.html
Friday, January 18, 2008. 262 miles. I finished the race. I finished what I started. I learned a lot about myself through out the process and most incredibly during the race. I experienced the gamut of emotions from despondency to elation. I met some great people. I got a finishers medal. As a fellow new runner and recent first-marathon completer, I salute you. Cheers! But tell us more about the day - your blog entry is too short! We want the details . Congrats again on a great accomplishment.

Dave's Running?: Little Changes
http://ctdave.blogspot.com/2008/11/little-changes.html
Saturday, November 15, 2008. Two weeks in.13 pounds and 2.5 inches. I haven't had much inclination to write much about my experiences, but I think it is important for me to at least put up the numbers. A friend of mine, a long time ago, got a fortune cookie with the message: speak less of your plans, you'll get more of them done. Hopefully I may get some writing inspiration, but right now I just feel like going down stairs and making some coffee. Talk to you soon. Hey, CT Dave-. Back in the Zone.

Dave's Running?: September 2008
http://ctdave.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2008. Life in the Zone. Three days ago I under took a challenge. To live strictly in the Zone. For at least 2 weeks with maybe a 2 week extension after I complete the first 2 weeks. I do this because of an article I recently read in the Crossfit Journal. Entitled, " Getting Off the Crack. As an aside, how can one reconcile the never ending pasta bowl at The Olive Garden with the Zone. Anyway, why the zone? But I would like to undertake the same experiment that Nicole had undertaken.

Dave's Running?: August 2007
http://ctdave.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2007. What a diference a shoe makes! Well, I put the shoes on, the felt good. I ran the 4 miles. No pain in the ankle. These shoes felt like they were made for my feet. I would have kept running if it weren't for the fact that it was a humid 81 degrees farenheit. I'm pysched for my 5 scheduled miles tomorrow. Until next time, I will keep running, I may not write often enough, but know that I am thinking of all of my friends in the virtual running world. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://ctdave.blogspot.com/2008/02/race-health-and-run-report.html
Sunday, February 10, 2008. The Race, Health and Run Report. It has been some weeks now since I finished my 1st marathon. The marathon was on January 13 and today is February 10th. I was able to actually able to run 3 miles today relatively pain free. (I did have some trouble breathing since I've not run in almost a month.). I did it. 26.2 miles. Sure it was 1 hr slower than my goal time, but I finished what I started. My next race is the Hartford half marathon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
