Hi, this is Erik. For those of us who have family members with Down syndrome. April 27, 2012. NO soda left behind. Over the Easter weekend my son and I went by Erik's room. He was his old teasing self. When I saw this picture of the two of us I thought that I looked like a giant standing next to Erik. He's always been a short, stocky guy but lately he seems shorter somehow. I know I haven't grown taller. So handsome for a 52 year old. We told him we were taking him out to dinner. That got him excited!

She has a sweet teenage son with downs. I haven't seen many posts from you. Just wondering how you're doing and dealing with Erik being gone. Still praying for you! Erik has been moved to a private room. The staff in the new hallway has taken to Erik well, I think they liked him right away. He's still receiving the strong antibiotics via his PICC line twice a day and the meds seem to be getting the job done. Only has TWO more doses to go. We haven't noticed any new seizures.
