So it's alright, I guess. That's all I really care about is beating the Twins. Might be one of the dumbest articles I've seen in a while. Because the world needs another baseball blog. Wednesday, May 04, 2005. This White Sox team is something special. I know it was only the Royals, and I know they only scored 5 runs, but they keep doing enough to win. The Angels are getting good pitching lately, and the result is a bit of a winning streak. 3 runs allowed in their last 3 games, but Paul Byrd (1-3, 5.29 ERA) could ruin it tonight against Seattle. I still think the Angels will wrap up the division by July. He doesn't even have a face.

Because the world needs another baseball blog. Monday, April 18, 2005. I take Sundays off. I just decided. The Dodgers are now 9-2, after sweeping the Padres. L.A. gave up 3 runs total in the three games. Derek Lowe and Jeff Weaver both pitched complete game shutouts, and Scott Erickson(? Even got a win. They've won 5 straight, and 8 of 9. Or is it Patriot's Day? Just goes to show how little we know about this holiday. Regardless, Sox at 11am (vs Toronto this year) is a fun tradition. Wood aint so Good.

The White Sox shut out Oakland 8-0 last night to run their winning streak to eight games. If someone had said me that a sentence like that would ring true only 3 weeks into the season, I would never have believed it. Sure, I expected the Sox to compete, but eight straight? That, I would have said, was out of the question. Mark Prior threw 6 solid innings yesterday, allowing 2 runs....

I haven't done this nearly as much as I intended to when I bought the MLB TV deal, but it's only been a couple of weeks anyway. It just seems like I wind up watching them the least because of how their schedule aligns (rather, doesn't align) with mine. 1 Buehrle on the bump bersus Bonderman; Sox look for another two-game sweep.
