Honduras Missions: October 2014
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 1, 2014. In the Valley Below. Sometimes when things don’t go the way we planned, we get upset and discouraged and completely miss the fact that maybe GOD HAS SOMETHING BETTER IN MIND. We have a vision of the way things should be or we want to recapture a moment where God revealed Himself clearly to us. So we push forward with all of ‘our’ strength trying to reach the goal we have set for ourselves. I am learning (continually) when to move and when to stop. A few days before she arrived...

Honduras Missions: November 2013
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 28, 2013. We have so many things to be thankful for on this day:. GOD - His amazing Love and perfect plan . and that He allows us to see His Glory shown in the lives of the people around us. THE FAITH HOME CHILDREN - The blessings we receive from them as we help them know God and discover His amazing plan for their lives. THE FAITH HOME STAFF - The sacrifices each of them make to be here as God's hands, feet and heart to our children. Changing hearts and lives. Because of those God is ...

Honduras Missions: January 2012
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. I grew up in a Christian home with loving parents and two beautiful sisters. I am so very thankful for my family and the things that they instilled in me throughout my life. They always encouraged me to be myself, while giving me advice and loving me unconditionally. I am now blessed with two brother-in-laws, a beautiful niece and three handsome nephews. My family is a huge part of my journey. Reflections from my journals. In my journal, I wrote about how blessed I am and how ...

Honduras Missions: Sanctuary - Thoughts from a Hospital Room
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2014/02/sanctuary-thoughts-from-hospital-room.html
Friday, February 28, 2014. Sanctuary - Thoughts from a Hospital Room. The past few days in the hospital with Fernando were starting to get to me last night. I would read my Bible and pray and feel God's sweet release, then I would pick up the bags of worry for Fernando and the others and then start hashing out all the things in my mind that are going on. I try to keep singing and smiling so Fernando doesn't see the worry on my face. Then the familiar poke in the ribs came and the God's comforting voice t...

Honduras Missions: August 2013
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 24, 2013. God is stirring hearts at Faith Home and drawing the children to Him! We had 5 children accept or rededicate their hearts to God this week and tonight 14 more came forward! Please pray with us as we continue to disciple these young souls and help them to stand firm in their calling. Glory to God! 24 Hours - A View from Above. With a full heart and a refreshed spirit, I packed up my things to head home. Just as I started to put on my shoes, I jumped as I saw a huge spider AN...

Honduras Missions: July 2013
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. We have received glimpses of the vision of the children of Faith Home reaching out beyond our walls and sharing the love of Christ with their people. But nothing I have witnessed so far could compare with the culmination of events that lead up to last night’s worship service. Back in January, I had an idea for a Faith Home video in which we used the Spanish version of the song ‘The Least of These’. The problem was that we couldn’t find a Spanish version of that song. The plan wa...

Honduras Missions: Thankful for my Fall...
http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2014/05/thankful-for-my-fall.html
Saturday, May 24, 2014. Thankful for my Fall. We are not defined by our mistakes or scars, but strengthened by them. God can take our worst mistakes, failures and disappointments and use them to transform not only our hearts and lives, but those of everyone we meet. Thankful for my fall. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

http://cm-jeremiah29-11.blogspot.com/2013/11/rest-in-peace-felix-ariel.html
Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Rest in Peace Felix Ariel. Felix Ariel Hernandez Medrano was born on April 3, 1994 in El Progresso, Honduras. We don't know the full circumstances of the first few years of his life, but at age 5 he was rescued and given the hope of a future in Faith Home. He ran from the van upon arrival at Faith Home and hugged the tree by the dining hall as if holding on for dear life. When he worked with the medical teams, you could see God's heart flowing through him. Please pray with u...
