Friday, August 24, 2012. In a couple hours Ashlyn will have successfully finished her first full week of Kindergarten. Whew! I'm not a fan of a full 5 days for the first week of school! I was warned by many people and Ashlyn's teacher that we would hit a wall by Thursday or Friday brought on by sheer exhaustion. And they were right! I am so thankful for two days of rest ahead of us. Monday, January 30, 2012. Aubrey is a thumb sucker. Anyone who meets her in person will notice this very soon, she loves her thumb. She sucks her right thumb, props her index finger on her nose and twirls her hair with her left hand. And if you ever happen to be so lucky, she will twirl your hair if she's snuggled up to you just right. When she was three months old I found her fast asleep on her play mat sucking her thumb. Monday, September 24, 2012. Saturday my sweet Aubrey girl turned three! On the flip side Aubrey is very hard headed and very stubborn and wants her way. She knows what she wants or doesn't and won't budge. I love this quality God has instilled in her but good gracious it makes my blood boil at times! Aubrey is also very social! We live on a nice quiet cul de sac so I don't have to worry about cars zipping by like at our old house. Thursday, May 17, 2012. We are completely moved into our new house and we love it. Absolutely love it! I still wake up and wonder why God chose to spoil us with such a great home! We moved in the first weekend of May. Phillip's parents came down Friday and Saturday to help. I seriously don't know what we would have done with out them! Ashlyn doesn't seem too interested in the cafeteria lunch, which is fine, a home packed lunch is much cheaper.
