I wish I lived in the grocery store. 7 March 2009 in Uncategorized. Oh, and I found out they sell part of my youth now! We are the Flory’s. Comments feed for this article. 7 March 2009 at 7:04 pm. You are very nice to put things back where they belong when you are at the store. Part of what I enjoy about going to the store is that I can put things back where they do not belong. It helps me justify the prices at Whole Foods, knowing that their employees are cleaning up after me. 7 March 2009 at 9:32 pm.

Because all good posts deserve a mention of Clowns. 4 March 2009 in Uncategorized. So I go back to the day I first met them. Jasper was in a fitted vest and tie, reading something about the titanic I think. At a table full of adults who were drowsily sipping coffee and tea. He was awake, perky, ready for life (and dressed for the sinking of any great ship). I loved him. It is nothing like dating. 4 March 2009 in Uncategorized. Of course. Not. Yes. Well? I blame the diet. 23 January 2009 in Uncategorized.

A million different topics. 28 September 2009 in Uncategorized. You know how many first sentences I have written tonight? It may seem like a control thing, and part of it is; a sleeping dog lies. But I know my intentions and I know I don’t want to hurt, but I also know I have to protect myself. So I’ve found myself in a box: how do I help without hurting myself? What did someone say about a wounded healer? We are the Flory’s. Comments feed for this article. 29 September 2009 at 8:35 am. Get every new pos...

12 August 2009 in Uncategorized. I posted last week, a week ago today, and something unsettling has been happening since then. On the surface, I have been writing about Josh’s death for almost 5 months, and I have been hesitant to actually hit publish and send it into a place where people could read what I have been going through. What I have learned since posting is greater than the fear that initially held me back. I love you Joshie. We are the Flory’s. Comments feed for this article. Get every new pos...

26 January 2010 in Uncategorized. This morning I took a long walk, did some stretching, checked my bank account, and added up some spare change. I had enough to run to half price books and get the authors first publication. I drove off with the back of my Mini Cooper taped up and didn’t even mind the missing window; I was on a mission. I walked into the bookstore and headed straight for the Fiction section. H. . . Hannah. . . no Hannah? We are the Flory’s. Comments feed for this article. You are commenti...

The Haircut | Liz Potter
https://elizabethpotter.wordpress.com/2009/03/05/the-haircut
5 March 2009 in Uncategorized. So I decided today that Chesterfield’s leg hair was disgusting. It was all matted (even though I have a cute dog does not mean I know how to maintain a cute dog), and smelled like foulness which in turn made me want to vomit even though he is SO fricken cute all curled up and showing his belly off at sunrise. He STUNK. We are the Flory’s. Comments feed for this article. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Get every new post deliv...

I just moved from downtown Seattle, in which I’ve lived in for the past 10 years single, footloose, and fancy free, to a farmhouse (within the city limits) vis-a-vis my boyfriend, his two boys, a Chesterfield, and more Charlotte’s than I can name (they build web’s terribly fast). I am so lame. 13 May 2011 in Uncategorized. Parenting is the most difficult job in the entire world. Step parenting doesn’t even have a difficulty level; it’s beyond the scope of anything I know. Parenting with someone else has it’s struggles, but can be accomplished with good, consistent communication. Enter the 12 year old boy. Much better than those of us who have lived on this earth for 3 times his lifespan. Duh. And the thing is? We’ll save that for another conversation. We are the Flory’s. You are ...
