針對近年有調查指副學位課程畢業生失業率高和工資低,中文大學教育學院早前以政府統計處的資料,研究九六年、○一年及○六年中學後非學位畢業生的就業和工資水平,發現副學位畢業生的平均工資,較中七畢業生高一成五至四成。 負責研究的中大教育學院教授鍾宇平稱,研究反映中學教育普及後,學生須向高等教育多走一步,才能有發展空間。 中大教育學院行政與政策學系教授鍾宇平稱,「中學後非學位教育之經濟回報」的研究,是利用政府統計處提供人口調查數據而進行。至於「中學後非學位教育」是指包括各類文憑、高級文憑和副學士等課程,這類課程以「自負盈虧」方式營運,平均每年學費需四至五萬元,因此不少人批評這類教育「投資大、回報少」。 研究結果發現,九六至○六年這十年間,本地教育回報率持續上升,從百分之九點八升至百分之十二點四。副學位畢業生在工資和就業情況方面,相對中七畢業生更佔有優勢,擁有副學位的畢業生在平均工資上,便對中七畢業生高一成五至四成,失業率也較中七畢業生低。 其二﹐是環繞九九年九月《教育改革建議》的議論﹐教統會提出「終身學習﹑自強不息...然而﹐過去三年另一種教育政策取向﹐卻同時在特區政府施政中不斷出現...這種「表...
