Sunday, August 15, 2010. The weather yesterday was warm and the mornings/evening seem to be cooler. Wind for today is 9kts consistent with gusts up to 25kts. Internet is funny, it seems we only get free wifi in the boat park. Practice race is in an hour or so, I guess this is where we will see how we stand against the others. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. We charged along and once again got the gybe perfect and held a brilliant course to the leeward. Upwind we aimed to keep boat speed at a maximum, at the mark we went for our normal set. As soon as we had the kite full we powered up and shot downwind. Thursday, August 12, 2010. So Will is in the UK and the plan is to meet up in The Netherlands on Saturday in Bruinisse where the event is going to be held. I spent the day packing up the rest of my kit and clothing before heading to the airport. Here is a shot of how everything fitting into the car, the sails were almost poking into the windscreen hehe. Sunday, August 8, 2010. Sam insisted that we blog our adventure into the Netherlands to compete in the RS500 World Championships, so we made this blog. At the moment we are in the packing stages of our trip. Tomorrow we will be stripping our gear off the RS500 at ABC to bring with us to holland.
