HLC IT’s Blog. Updating NAC agent to 4.7.2.10. I have had several laptops with Vista that have failed to update clean access to the latest version with a security message, saying they do not have administrator permissions to run the update. Uninstall the last version of the Agent and install the latest version from the network resolved the problem. It may be necessary to download and save the file and right-click to run as an administrator. I haven’t encountered this with XP or Windows 7 as yet.

Windows7 starter should now not be being allowed on network this is because Cisc Clean access does not recognise it so it was just passing straight through. If you ever find the screen on the MFDs look distorted, like in the 1st picture below, the problem is simply that someone has pressed the button to the right of the green button (the one highlighted in the 2nd picture). When students can’t log off, and the error screen shows files from Application Data, here’s a straightforward way to sort the problem:. 1: All students have a link to the “IT Help” webpage on their desktop. They cannot delete the link, so it WILL be there. 2: When the page loads, look under “Manage Your IT Account”, and you’ll see “What to do if you exceed you profile space”. Sometimes, people will donwload a file from Yahoo Mail, Gmail etc; work on it, click save, and later find it has vanished. Tehreason is that when they download such files, they save them into Temporary Internet Files, which aren’t normally accessible. IT Help – 24 / 7. MFDs and module guides. 30 January, 2009. There’s a recurring problem with people trying to print module guides, and possibly module registration forms, to the MFDs. We think the problem is that the guides are set up in “letter” format, not A4. Even if the student isn’t printing a module guide, the problem may be that their work is held up in the print queue behind someone else’s module guide. To correct this, follow the instructions below: –. 3) Select Spelling and Grammar Tag. 4) Ensure that the “Check spelling as you type” box is selected. 5) Select “Ok”.
