crying eagles, noble turkeys, red glares: May 2011
http://nobleturkeys.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Crying eagles, noble turkeys, red glares. Obsessively ranking, knowing better, and talking turkey in miraculously spangled garb. Shaking leaves of streamers from the liber-tree. Monday, May 16, 2011. I told you so! Let's flash back to July 2010. The floundering Phillies were looking to nab Roy Oswalt instead of Dan Haren, and I was not in favor of this. Here was one of my concerns. And it seems like the good people of Earth should trust my prophesy over what they hear on Family Radio. Why? I hope that he...

Crying eagles, noble turkeys, red glares. Obsessively ranking, knowing better, and talking turkey in miraculously spangled garb. Shaking leaves of streamers from the liber-tree. Saturday, April 30, 2011. This mess is from notes I took from the 2011 Draft. Make of it what you will- I just like to keep these notes in the blog to reference them in the fullness of time to see how the picks panned out. Is a free agent and not a great player and RT Winston Justice. And this from Peter King at SI. Watkins was a...

OttArt: Taking my own advice
http://ottart.blogspot.com/2009/09/taking-my-own-advice.html
Thursday, September 17, 2009. Taking my own advice. I'm going to stop apologizing about the fact that I don't blog daily. Maybe I will some day. Maybe I won't. And I'm not going to think about whether the entry is long or short. It will be what it will be. That said, I'm hoping to write about a slew of new things I've seen recently and I'll be gallery hopping soon, so there will be that too. I was talking to Helen Maureen Cooper. Which is advice I myself followed and checked in on Michael's work again.

Anothur Decor: April 2012

8220;For a house to be successful, the objects in it must communicate with one another, respond and balance one another.” – Andre Putman. Sunday, April 29, 2012. International Antiques Fair 2012. Being so old never looked so good! I went to the 2012 International Antiques Fair at the Merchandise Mart http:/ www.merchandisemartantiques.com/spring/. There were a few featured designers that I found to be amazing. Ramsey J Prince and Summer Thornton. Their compositions were inspiring and beautiful! The show ...

Saturday, January 30, 2010. Pink Flowers, Chicago, 2009. Below I've posted some new work that I've made in the last six months or so on my travels around the country. At present, there are only loose connective themes running though them, but perhaps one day they'll find a place in a project. Or not. Enjoy! Friday, January 29, 2010. Burnt Trailer, Arkansas, 2010. Leashed dog, Louisiana, 2010. Drowned Chihuahuas, Florida, 2010. Spanish Moss, Arkansas, 2010. Dealership, Missouri, 2010. Also from the South.

crying eagles, noble turkeys, red glares: Phillies management look lost at the plate; Dan Haren signs with another red-and-white team
http://nobleturkeys.blogspot.com/2010/07/phillies-management-look-lost-at-plate.html
Crying eagles, noble turkeys, red glares. Obsessively ranking, knowing better, and talking turkey in miraculously spangled garb. Shaking leaves of streamers from the liber-tree. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Phillies management look lost at the plate; Dan Haren signs with another red-and-white team. If you look back at my critique. The Phillies should have gone after Adrian Beltre instead of Placido Polanco. The Phillies should have kept Cliff Lee. I'm not saying that the Phillies would win the World Series th...
