The Medusa Support Group. The Support Group exists to maintain and operate Medusa. Group members include former HDML crew members, those with a maritime background, those with skills, those that want to learn and those that want to offer their support. Membership is open to anyone with an interest. There is a working party on board most Saturdays and the vessel is at sea, on average, one day per week during the summer.

Change of Command, April 2013. After 45 years as Medusa's skipper, Mike Boyce decided it was time to retire and command was handed to Alan Watson who has been First Officer for 15 years. Without a lifetimes dedication from Mike (and a lifetimes tolerance from Pam his wife) Medusa would not be around today. To wish Mike well, the crew organised a send off which involved a great deal of Rum. Mike Boyce, skipper 1968-2013. Medusa stars at Jubilee Pageant June 2012. Medusa back in the water March 2010.
