Meditating on the ten plagues in Exodus. 1 Moses is a Levite, a member of the tribe later appointed to be priests who speak to God. He is the only one to talk to God, kind of a reflection of things to come. It was only when Jesus died for us that we no longer needed a priest to be the middleman between God and His people.
