Capt John L. Anderson, Senior Pilot, New Plymouth. John began his flying career with Wanganui Aero Works as a fixed wing pilot for 3 years. He then "saw the light" and trained as a helicopter pilot and flew with them for a further eight years before moving to the United Kingdom. For two years, he flew the UK/Middle East route but, then returned to New Plymouth to start his career with HNZ.

HNZ Purchases The Neil O'Connor Trust Hangar. As of 1 April 2009, HNZ Ltd., has purchased the Neil O'conner Trust Hangar next to our installation in New Plymouth. This hangar is a fine logistical addition to our current infrastructure and will serve many facets of our engineering operations in place.
