Four Seasons at Charlottesville. Wednesday, August 3, 2011. First court date for warrant in debt. This morning in General District Court was the first court date for the warrant in debt filed by HOA Member Larry Taff. Mr Mayhew appeared for KHov and Julie Chase of Whiteford, Taylor and Preston appeared for the HOA and Legum and Norman. A defendant who appears and does not plead guilty (admit owing the debt) may ask for a trial date. The defendant may request the bill of particulars, which is the plaintiff's written statement of reasons/grounds for claiming the defendant(s) owe the debt.
