Food for Thought: Technical Message

http://www.hobbiechef.blogspot.com/2006/04/technical-message.html

This is what makes the world go around. 14 April, 2006. I seem to be having a problem uploading images, I thought that if I removed all images from previous posts, reduced the image sizes and start again I'd be OK, but it seems I can't upload those images either, so till I can figure out an alternative way of presenting photos, I'll keep posting recipes and stories without any. Please be patient with this slight technical hitch. Posted by HobbieChef @ 12:34. Light Meals or Entrees.

The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Summer's arrived with a screeeech! Also, it hasn't been cooling off overnight, so we've been using the air-conditioner unit in the bedroom. It's on now to give a little bit of relief. My office is in a converted primary school so it's not air-conditioned. We have a fan and that's it. It's a bit mean of the weather to suddenly start with hot weather just when I've started work. A sunny smile to you all! Posted by lumpy @ 5:39 PM. This post was ...

The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. I know lumpy has been doing all the writing, but I've been helping him .no, really. And I've been busy teaching, researching, walking to and from work (35-40 mins each way), but I decided I really should write something. So here are some of my word pictures. My thoughts are purple bees. And meditation golden sap. Trying to get a SIN). Using only legs and wits. To get there, I was surprised. By the helpful official. With someone's belly button.

The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Lookee what we bought. No we can do stuff and go places! And look at our lovely backyard now we're in summer! We are getting bucketloads of strawberries to eat now and they're yummy! Posted by lumpy @ 6:31 PM. Sunday, June 25, 2006. Farmer's markets and giant ice-creams! We had a great day shopping yesterday! In the end I couldn't eat the last little bit. Next we went to Jackson square, which is always a surreal experience. I think Lumpy ...

The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Saturday, July 29, 2006. Polish banana drinks on a search for skates. The Pez are visiting! They may also do a guest-post). For those of you who don't know bug, that's our (bug and my) parents. They arrived on Thursday from Sweden without half their luggage, but at least didn't have to sit on the tarmac like Laura did. Friday we left them to try and get on Hamilton time and deal with the change from low teens to 30 and humid! Mother mis-heard and thought I was "readin...

The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Friday, December 30, 2005. We arrived at 9ish on the 28th after 24 hrs in transit (and about 2 hours sleep! The Canadian immigration official was very nice (as were customs) which was good because we were about to fall asleep! Charlie met us at the airport and we came back to Daphne and Charlie's house and had wine and cheese and home made bread. We went to bed at 12 and slept for 12 hours, waking to feel much more human. The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Back for some more photos from our recent trip! As well as going to Montreal for 3 nights, we came home via Ottawa, staying with Josh and Elli. Who have been there about as long as we've been in Hamilton. They kindly put us up in their basement apartment. I was extremely jealous of their new kitchen and bathroom fittings - but less jealous of the bathroom rail that came so easily out of the wall when Josh reached up to close the window. Here'...

I just found out that the photographer didn't delete all those extra photos which weren't in the proof, he left them on th CD! The adventures of lumpy and lumpkin. Friday, September 15, 2006. We went to a barbecue with Rachel's work colleagues today. It is an annual event to do with welcoming new grad students, and there is a competition to bring the best Wiener cooking system (think campfire and sticks with marshmallows). Our entry was the "Wiener Turner":. There's a picture of Tina Turner attached to the tongs? So we were totally outclassed! At least I got a few laughs from the audience.). This summer, you just can’t avoid the strange weather. That is certainly true for the DuPage County Fair, going on now through Sunday at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. Then on Thursday rain showers blew threw the area, making for a rather humid atmosphere at the fair. McGuire said there are new features to the fair this year.
