Tuesday, September 9, 2008. We had so much fun with the Hickeys in Tahoe. Love, love, love their cabin as usual. We put the kids in chariots and on bikes and rode down to the Lake. Burrrrrr. We went trout fishing with no luck. We hiked (and Jane napped). The weather was awesome and the kids loved just playing around the cabin. I attempted my first "fancy" cake thanks to Melissa. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Jane is pulling herself up now. I love the first time you walk into their room and they've popped up so proud of themselves. I ran and got my camera. She loves to say uuh-ooo. And dadadada. And when I say "Say mama" she says "dadadadadada," just to prove to me who she loves best. And now she's waving. Sunday, February 18, 2007. Weekend With the Girls. So my girlfriends from college (aka Cotati. Came to town this weekend for a much overdue girls' weekend. Michelle got engaged over the holidays so we were celebrating her engagement and her 30 th. Birthday. We spent time out here in Danville. Which we hadn't done in a while and always means a lot to me. And then we hit SF yesterday for bridal dress shopping at Neiman. Marcus and a night out. I wanted to tell them desperately! I feel a little like a lier.
