HobbyRoms has been providing eproms for the Arcade collecting community since 2004. I myself collect classic arcade games and pinballs from the early 80's like Pac-Man, Pole Position and most Williams Games. I have needed EPROMS programmed for me on several occasions and relying on friends and emailing people to see if they would program an EPROM for me led me to eventually purchasing an EPROM Programmer and an EPROM Eraser for myself. Bi-Polar Proms For Sale. Bi-polar PROMs are ONE-TIME programmable devices which are typically smaller, but faster than eproms. Obviously, since they can only be programmed once, all PROMs for sale are NEW. Removing and Installing an EPROM. Removing your old EPROM and installing a new one is very easy and takes only a couple of minutes and a small, flat head screwdriver. Before Installing or Removing EPROMs. Be sure to turn off the power, and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
