Life with the Hoces. A brief look at life with kelly, ali, jane porter, ben and carson. Friday, June 28, 2013. Aunt Ginny's Baby shower. This happened June 8th- I'm so not in blogging habit- clearly). After JP's first swim meet we met Kelly and Ben on the highway after they got Mimi from Kannapolis and we all rolled on down to Chapin for Josh and Ginny's baby showers. Ginny is an accountant- so of course the precious favors were piggy banks. JP and Aunt Ginny. So excited for baby boy Hoce in August!

Christmas cards make every mail delivery exciting, people stop by to say hi and everything is decorated to the nines. Our sweet sitter Patterson dropped by gifts for the kiddos- she has been such a blessing to me with Kelly travelling so much! They are so cute together. Even if they did talk until 10p. Papa Jim read the Night Before Christmas- our yearly tradition.

Life with the Hoces. A brief look at life with kelly, ali, jane porter, ben and carson. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Kelly and his buddy Austin love to run. The took their "hobby" to another level April 12 in the Palmetto 200 "Adventure"- where they ran in a team from Columbia, SC to Charleston. No- they did not shut down I-26 for the race- they took back roads and went through state parks. Yes- a car would have been a heck of a lot faster. Still- 200 miles is impressive. Way to go Kelly! But they loved it.

We used to go out to the country to a real pumpkin patch- I think our last time doing that was when JP was three- aka pre-Ben. We will have to go next year. But after dozens of red ant bites, toddler tantrums and complete meltdowns (mine). I really appreciate going just half a mile down the road to buy pumpkins. (next year we do the real deal). We have a new COUSIN!

Wesley loves JP and allows Ben to follow him following JP- it works. I have a feeling when McKay gets older he and Ben will be the second children bffs.
