My devotional life has dropped into almost non-existence in the past few weeks, and I'm barely posting here once a week, much less once a day. Finding God in a world of busyness and distractions. Monday, March 05, 2007. Disciple: Week 6, Day 1. So today we read the 10 Commandments as outlined in Exodus AND Deuteronomy again. That means that we’ve basically read the same thing for this study four. Anyway, we’re supposed to compare the two passages. I went to church in Japan for the first time today. It was definitely a bit of a weird experience, and it made me realize a few things:. 1) becoming part of an established faith community takes work and perseverance. 2) one friendly face/one person acknowledging that you're new and welcoming you makes a HUGE difference. From the main gate, go straight.
