This week at school I had my students write things that they were thankful for and so I decided I would jot a few things that I am thankful for :) (Thanks for the idea Jaymee). I am thankful for. My AMAZING children who keep me laughing. My WONDERFUL husband who puts up with me and my "Lupe Chavez" syndrome. My STRONG WILLED parents who taught me the meaning of family. Live, Laugh, Love. Sunday, April 19, 2009. I Received JESUS Today! Saturday was a VERY BLESSED day! Andrew received his First Holy Communion! I have to say Andrew's two year preparation kept me questioning whether or not he was really ready, but after watching him yesterday I have to say he did an AWESOME job! I was a very proud mommy and of course I cried! But for the most part it was an INCREDIBLE evening and we are so thankful for our Gracious Lord and Savior and his many blessings! Links to this post.

Live, Laugh, Love. Sunday, January 31, 2010. We had a fun filled weekend of BASKETBALL. I don't think I've ever watched so much basketball. Can I just say basketball, basketball, basketball! First off David Rey had a tournament this weekend. His first game was Friday night. He then had one at 8am on Saturday and at 1. We didn't make the 8:00 one because Andrew had a 9:00 game on Saturday also. So off we went Game #2. Woo Hoo (I say with some sarcasm) The game was at 1:00 and they WON! Links to this post.

A Day In The Life of Mya, River and Piper. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Mya the 2nd Grader. I can't believe it's a whole new school year. It's weird to end one school year and start the next just 6 weeks later. This start to the year was so odd because we didn't need to buy anything! We did go to dinner the night before to celebrate. Since we never go out to dinner anymore, Ryder and I were trying very hard to get Mya to pick our favorite place! She finally gave in! I mean, it's all about what we want, right?

She really doesn't turn 90 until Sunday, but we celebrated a week early. The weather is so nice here, so we enjoyed a great party outside at Aunt Peggy and Uncle Gorden's house.
