For some reason, she didn't know a "meet" was a "race". She thought it was just a meeting. When I told her she needed to get ready for her race, she got so nervous! Her coaches told her she was doing the 400m (one lap around the field), but when she was up to race, it was 800m! Pikes Peak BMX Track. We started with rice cereal...

We liked the couch, but hated that one of cushions had to be covered from the dogs chewing on it. The new couch is all leather, which is so hard to find. Welcome to the Hoffman Family blog. We are a family of 5 and loving life at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains! Thursday, March 29, 2012. Yesterday was so beautiful, we went to the park. The kids rode their bikes and I walked/jogged with Danny in the stroller. I think Danny would have taken a nap in the swing if it wasn't so windy. Little feet make me smile. Lexi had her school musical last week. It was titled "I Need a Vacation! It was very amusing and Joe and I laughed the whole time!

I know I say this every month, but I really can't believe how fast time is flying! Doing a push up! Danny is scooting around on his tummy and he moves so fast! He gets up on all fours, but hasn't quite figured it out yet. We have had to get out the gate for his safety. He is definitely not lazy! Here are a few random pics of him scooting after a ball.

Lexi and Chris started school almost 2 weeks ago. I have to admit, I was dreading it! The Friday before school started, we went to the school to meet the teachers. Chris was able to talk to his teacher, Ms. Trujillo, and I was relieved! Lexi just goes with the flow. She liked her teacher and we didn't have any problems with her.
