Sound Check Sbezziale Silencers. The 35. International Moto Morini Meeting @Neulussheim from 05.-07.06.2015 offered the perfect environment to present our first prototypes. We composed the fuel tank model, mounted the seat, affixed the side covers and put the exhaust system into operation (which are not really silent). It has a real burner sound! Ein neues Original mit Legendenanspruch! Die Zeichen waren und sind Verpflichtung gegenüber dem legendären Vorbild. Auch wenn der Motor 1187 ccm hat und nicht wie seiner Zeit 350 ccm (genauer 344! Passt der Name perfekt. Jetzt! Neuer Entwurf in Anlehnung zum Original. Denn eigentlich hat die originale 9. Nicht viel von der zeitlosen Eleganz der kleinen 3. Ist steht außer Frage! Die Linie und Form der 3. Entwickeln können. Die Form und die Proportionen stimmten, die Optik war berauschend und der Name 9.

The name “S. Seems like a spelling error of an illiterate or a wannabe-italian but indeed it is not what it seems to be. … It combines in an ideal way the expectance in this conversion Special. And the father of it’s design. The name isn’ t intended solely as a typology, but also as a tribute to the designer and his successful adaption of the 9 in respect to the mighty 3 . We’re working on it and will present the final draft as soon as possible. By then some patience and pleasant anticipation.

The Story behind the Project. We are in December 2013, when some inspired Morinisti decided to bring the mighty 3 from 1973 to the new millennium. The dream: to transfer the legendary design to a modern bike. A bike with 117 HP instead of 35 HP, with 1187 cc instead of 344 cc but with an engine still descending from the brilliant Franco Lambertini. In Delmenhorst, our technical leader.
