Friday, August 10, 2007. Biking About Town in the HOT! I ended up sleeping late today (if 9 am is actually late), so I decided to punish myself by going to the beach. Doesn't sound like much of a punishment, but it being as hot as it is . yeah, it really is harsh! With free wi-fi, to which I never actually found. There are several Kuhonbutsu statues all over the city, and my goal is to see them all. Despite living fairly close to many of them, I haven't actually seen any of them until today!

Sunday, August 12, 2007. Ancient Ruins . or lack there of . I set off this morning to find the Ancient Ruins of Iwagasaki, but to my dissapointment, I never found them. Stupid tourist map . On the way there, I found another Kuhonbutsu statue. For some reason they are really hard to find (o o)! Anyway, back to my trip to the ruins . I traveled along this long bridge going towards Sanpoku. I turned off where the map marked, but going all the way down, I couldn't find it! I found Taki Jinja, but no ruins!

Thursday, July 19, 2007. Last bit of info . I heard from my BOE (Board of Education), and they sent me my address, and a list of my schools. Ms. Fuse, my supervisor, said that I have five schools:. 1) Murakami Higashi Junior High (base school). 5) Iwafune Junior High. 202 koupo Saiwai B. I put everything up on my Google map.
