Sir Gilbert Hoghton’s is a Royalist Regiment in The Sealed Knot Society. The Regiment is part of the Marquess of Newcastle’s Tertio. We recreate a foot regiment of the Kings Northern Army, during the English Civil Wars of 1640s. The Sealed Knot Society is a registered charity, and is committed to improving historical awareness of the history of England during the English Civil War period. 1st Hoghton Cubs on Camp. 1st Hoghton (Holy Trinity) Scout Group. Make everyday an adventure. 1st Hoghton Scouts (part of South Ribble Scouts. Provides adventure for young people aged 6 to 14 around the Hoghton area. The Group is made up of a buzzing Beaver colony, a lively Cub Pack and an active Scout Troop and all sections take part in an exciting and engaging programme. The leadership of the Group is provided by a team of volunteers who give up their time to organise and run activities.
