By Jon on Monday, March 9, 2015. File under: Off Topic. Somehow, amazingly, we've brought our fourth child home. Hudson arrived last week. Kortney really did the hard part, leaving me to pick up the moral support (can't say I'm the best at that). Our first 24 hours with Hudson were great - he barely cried, slept in nice big chunks, and mostly just let us ogle him and laze around. Day two was quite a big different - sleep all day and party all night. After about a week he seems to be settling in.

Currently, I'm a software engineer at Go Daddy Software. I used to be a traveling consultant working for Accenture. Most of my time is spent in Scottsdale, with my wife, Kortney. But we have been known to travel quite extensively. My last name is pronounced h o. Like the Bible, and is German for cave or cavern. My German teacher in high school also informed me its often used to refer to hell. I'd rather it means set apart, as in "holy", but hey, what are you going to do? And in close second is GNU/Linux.

They were born just before Christmas, giving us an awesome Christmas present - of course, it meant Kortney and I were stuck in the hospital most of Christmas day. Along the way we moved back down to Arizona. Kortney did pretty well for about 3 months, but as the babes grew it became harder and harder on her - by the end she had nearly 12lbs of baby inside of her. Things were getting too simple though....

Living the gray life. Get it. like living the great life :). Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Kids all laying in Garrison's travel elmo bed. We got out of town with the same friends to Payson. Troy's parents have an awesome place so we spent last weekend enjoying the weather, swimming, and hanging out with friends. Garrison will swim alone if he has a life vest or a floaty tube. He loves it! It was cold enough at night to sit on the patio and have a fire in the fire pit. Kids being dragons- cuter.

And recently bought and remodeled a great house in Englewood. We had a weekend of. Food, conversation, shopping, and adventure. She showed us all around the city. It was beautiful. Such a cool city with lots of cool neighborhoods, houses, shops, and restaurants. I came home inspired to decorate and work on our house. Cat fell in love with a tractor on the water.

I can go when I want and not feel like I have to stay for 5 hours to get my money worth. Garrison is usually spent after 2 hours anyways. We got to go today with lots of friends. Catherine, Jack, Me, Garrison, Vicki, Gavin. Weekend. A bunch of YL staff wives (women who are married to guys who do the same thing Troy does) went up to PRESCOTT. Girls lunch. 2 hours. Afternoon jog in the cool breeze.

Wow- now it has been a few weeks, but. still I am loving my experience at the spa. My BFF Katie was in town from North Carolina and we had an absolutely amazing day! We decided we should finally head home about 3, but we had fun plans for that night as well, but I will post about that next :) So hello upcoming holidays and birthdays- I will be at the spa!
