My Journey to 5th Grade: November 2012
http://www.myjourneyto5thgrade.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 17, 2012. Where has the time gone? I cannot, absolutely, positively, cannot. believe that it is almost Thanksgiving. And I haven't posted a new blog post since right after school started. The latter just happened to me yesterday and it all boils down to the inevitable, can't get away from, natural body function of going to the bathroom! Oh my gosh. no wonder I was feeling crazy. How could I possibly let this happen? Did they go home hating me? So, after thinking about this. and thi...

My Journey to 5th Grade: Storage Ottomons~ What??
http://www.myjourneyto5thgrade.com/2013/07/storage-ottomons-what.html
Monday, July 22, 2013. I know I haven't posted in a long time. I thought for sure I would have more time in the summer and I guess I do, but I am just not motivated. I am trying not to think about going back to work, but I probably should. I know I will be a better teacher if I am prepared. I went the "I don't want them to get dirty" way and bought black. My daughter wanted me to mix it up, but I am so afraid of them getting disgusting looking. I really would like them to last a long time! I have one at ...
First Grade Spies: Small group math
http://firstgradespies.blogspot.com/2013/03/small-group-math_8.html
Friday, March 8, 2013. How many of you are already teaching math in small groups? I made the change 2 years ago and don't think I could go back now. I love teaching math in small groups. Basically, I begin math each day with a short whole group lesson that either reviews a previously learned skill, or introduces a new one. Then we move into math stations. Station 1 is guided math with me. Station 3 is a computer station and students are able to go to practice math on various websites. AbCya. They bring t...

Amit Nithian's Random Writings. Monday, August 12, 2013. Three Reasons to Break Your “Golden Handcuffs”. It’s an amazing statistic. Two-thirds of American workers are dissatisfied with their current job. And since most people spend one-third of their day working, it is an absurdly high percentage of life spent being unhappy. Learning to teach, Teaching to learn
Learning to teach, Teaching to learn. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I realized I totally neglected this blog throughout my first year of teaching! I really wish had I reflected more in here, but that just didn't happen. I'm really in the mood to start a personal blog right now, so hopefully that desire and interest will carry over into the start of the school year so that I can continue this blog about my teaching. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. It's been QUITE a while. I can't believe I've slacked so much on this!
Hokietech's Blog | New technology developments reviewed for the layman
About Me: Not just another technology blog…. September 29, 2011 · 8:27 am. How will new patent law affect tech sector?
