Home of the Hills: Growing! Victoria at 2 & 3 Months
http://www.mbhill.net/2012/10/growing-victoria-at-2-3-months.html
Keep Up To Date. Victoria at 2 and 3 Months. It's been 2 months since we've written here, and growth has occurred! Victoria has continued to be incredibly healthy, and she has grown on a slow, upward curve since she arrived home. After longing for her to be with us for 5 weeks, it has felt good to get to know our baby girl and see her grow. That said, "Little Incline #2" (shout-out to Auntie Kris! Helpful to me. I know she's in the 0 or 1 percentile when compared to other babies her age! I asked if inste...

http://www.mbhill.net/2012_08_01_archive.html
Keep Up To Date. Seeing as today is our due date, I thought the occasion was worth marking with a blog post. She still looks tiny in her crib. Victoria and I went to the hospital today. We only went to drop off a hospital grade pump we rented (I gave up the fight to pump last week! Positively surreal. And to think that today is our due date and our baby is 2 months old? Life is full and our hearts are full! I'm eating whatever I want and experiencing no GI issues. So thankful for that. We're slow...My ne...

Keep Up To Date. My, what a milestone! One is a milestone in every baby’s life. But for some reason, this. One feels particularly momentous. Victoria arrived 2 months early – 9 weeks. The nurse who was at her “birthday party” in the operating room later told me that the staff expected her to be blue or to need some sort of major respiratory help. Because the delivery surgery was complicated to get Victoria out safely, she was under the influence of anesthesia for over 6 minutes. God has sustained us.

Home of the Hills: Nursery Complete
http://www.mbhill.net/2012/07/nursery-complete.html
Keep Up To Date. We're declaring our nursery "complete". We've been making incremental progress for a long time between hospital stays and doctor's appointments. Although we have a few more wall hangings we'd like to arrange, we're declaring Initial Operating Capability (IOC). We have all the finishing touches required for IOC. The windows have their trim hung. The changing table is ready with clothes stored and sorted. The carpet has been selected and placed. New track lighting has been installed.

Keep Up To Date. Keep Up To Date. Here are two easy ways to be notified when an new blog post is published. Follow by Email Subscription. Follow by Feed Subscription. By subscribing to the "feed" you can receive updates every time an article is published. Instead of getting an email you will be notified through another application called a "feed aggregator" (also called a RSS Reader or Atom Reader). My favorite one is Google Reader. But there are several good alternatives. Most sites have a feed icon tha...

Home of the Hills: 2012-02
http://www.mbhill.net/2012_02_01_archive.html
Keep Up To Date. Well somewhere between moving back from Sunnyvale, CA and dealing with some health challenges we had a new year overtake us. I'll post more on the "health challenges" but the good news is that everyone is fine. And by everyone I mean our 17 week old unborn child! If you haven't heard (I apologize for this being the mechanism) but we're expecting a baby in the first week of August. It was a fantastic chance to catch up with old friends and enjoy the beach life in January. And even tho...

Keep Up To Date. Growing Up - Post Preschool. We all have those moments when we realize our kids are growing up. One of mine recently was Owen's preschool graduation. But recently we had the opportunity to celebrate his pre-school graduation. Melissa's incarceration has provided the opportunity to get to know the other mothers, teachers and kids in Owen's school much better. They all have been great influences for Owen and very generous with their love towards him. Owen with his teacher, Mrs. Beck. Highl...
