March 11, 2015. It has been a very exciting few days in 1H. We had the arrival of 10 eggs on Monday and over Tuesday night one chick hatched! Before school and at lunchtime, another two chicks slowly pushed their way out of their eggs. Just before afternoon play one more chick hatched. Now we have four! We can’t wait to have all 10 chicks jumping around their box! Did you enjoy watching the chicks hatch? How many boys and how many girls do you think there will be when all the chicks have hatched?

Sports Week – 8.8.15. What a super sporty week! On Monday we went to the assault course. Then we did some dancing on Tuesday. The best and busiest day was Wednesday. Sports Day! The bean bag race. What was your favourite? July 8, 2015. Strawberry Picking – 1.7.15. Our strawberry picking adventure was very hot but also very yummy! The farmer told us how to pick strawberries carefully so that we didn’t squash them. Then we went to pick our own. Some of us were slow, hunting for the best ripe red fruit.

Holbeach Year 3M Blog. 3M – Own clothes day and visit the Year 5 Roman Museum. What a great day we had on Friday! It was ‘own clothes’ day – we brought in bottles for the summer fair. Everyone in the class wore non-uniform clothes. We looked amazing…. After a busy morning’s learning, we had a real treat in the afternoon …a Roman museum! We were able to try on Roman clothes. There were different quizzes and challenges for us to try. We looked for Roman treasure and made mosaics. We even tasted Roman food!
