All the Halls: February 2011
http://thehallsadventure.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 8, 2011. My kids are such a joy. Even in the midst of these challenging years, joy in the tiny moments are {often} enough to keep my heart full. I ran across a journal with a single line for each day - basically a mom's journal with one thought about the day. A dear friend of mine does this, and I think it will be a true gift to my girls. So, I've decided to reflect each day with a thought for each of them. You are a mere nine months old {this week} - I'm not ready for this. When the pa...

Sancheti Snippets: The Pumpkin Patch
http://sanchetisnippets.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-pumpkin-patch.html
Monday, October 8, 2012. This fall, Shaan and I made our first trip to the Pumpkin Patch. What a neat experience! We travelled to Burt's Farm in north Georgia and spent several hours browsing through the large selection of pumpkins, taking a hayride, and sampling some tasty treats. Oh, and of course we purchased a few pumpkins as well! We made it home with a carving pumpkin that looks WAY bigger on our teeny doorstep than it did out in the pumpkin field - ha! Shepherd My Child Blog. With a Cherry on Top.

Saturday, January 12, 2013. The First Fifty and BAD DOG! Shaan mastered reading/spelling his first 50 words this week! I'll admit I've not been so great a focusing on reading with him lately, so I hit the ground running at the start of this year (2013) thinking I need to get back into the swing of using our flashcards, reading more books, etc. After we used our flashcards a few nights ago, I counted how many he was able to read and it was 50 words exactly:. 18) JuJu (what he calls my mom). Montana part 2...

Due to Chief's impressive photography skills, this looks much bigger than it actually was. But it IS the first fish he actually helped to reel in. He is still talking about it! Fletch (and I) had a really good time visiting all of his grandparents this weekend. Thanks everyone for visiting with us- we miss our Birmingham family! http://thehallsadventure.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Crazy doesn't even begin to describe how things are for us right now. Our summer has been filled with all kinds of peaks and valleys - which is sincerely hope to update you all on soon. That said, the Tooth "Berry" has been to our house. Twice In two weeks. Yes, although Emma just turned five a couple of weeks ago, she already. Had loose teeth. She got baby teeth very early, so our path to "big girl" teeth is on the same speedy track. Posted by The Halls. Love in the ruins.

All the Halls: Perfection is Paralyzing
http://thehallsadventure.blogspot.com/2012/01/perfection-is-paralyzing.html
Sunday, January 29, 2012. I'm happy to say that I'm dusting off the ol' blog and starting to post again. Yes, there is never enough time. Yes, our life is crazy. But, I think the biggest factor for not posting is perfection. I want to craft perfectly written paragraphs with perfectly taken pictures.and when I can't, I don't. So, here's my less-than-perfect, but otherwise written post. Our weekend was basically a usual Hall weekend - lots of cooking and kid-chasing. Hello, slow cooker. Six loads of laundry.

http://thehallsadventure.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 13, 2011. Better late than never, right? It was such a nice Christmas. Although we are always happy to visit family, staying at home for our first Birmingham Christmas was a welcome new addition. No bag packing, kid wrestling, no plotting and scheming.just a little cleaning and we were off to the races. At 7 1/2 months, didn't have a clue about what was going on, but was thrilled to have three more people to entertain. It was such a sweet time, but as with most holidays, it was bittersw...
