The Holder Family Circus. May 10, 2010. You know it. I know it. Knows it. We all learned it at some point, apparently. The other day Ellie was sitting in the bathtub holding a rubber duck, exhaling the spluttering purr of a motorboat, when she quieted and looked up at me, knotting her brow. It was clear she was mulling over something important. Very important. She breathed out. 8220;Daddy poops.” she said. She tilted her head to the side in disbelief. 8221; she said. 8220;Yes, Papa poops.”.

The Holder Family has visitors in NC this week, Dave’s mom–“Nana”–and grandparents are here for the weekend, along with Nana’s dog, Maizey.
