SV HoldFast: December 2014
http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Say Goodbye to 2014. We pulled up anchor before 6 am. There was sufficient sunlight to see the rocky shoreline and the rolls on the shoals by the time we were at the Little Harbour Cut. We were not the first out. Two boats beat us out and another seven or eight came through the cut anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour behind us. The crowd of boats reminded us why it is so hard to catch fish on this stretch of water – it is highly traveled and seems to be fished out. Some went...

http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. Jay was kind enough to let us use his high speed internet. Myron has been working on orders for our punch list. I have been looking for a car and posting photos on Picasa. Check out the new photos on the photo gallery link to the right and look for 03.15.15 Eleuthera Island. Hold Fast at anchor in Governor's Harbor after sunset:. We are looking for a weather window to return to the states. We paid for a mooring in eastern harbor at MOW Cay through Wednesday morning, April 1. It wa...

http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2015/05/deltaville-in-time-for-lunch.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Deltaville - In Time For Lunch. We are here not just to visit, but to get a fair amount of work done. We still need to schedule our haul out, but it does not look too busy across the creek at the boat yard. I am not sure when we will post next, maybe if I get a break from projects and can share some pictures. Thank you for watching! Love to all,. GMST}37°32.95N 076°19.98W 5/19/2015 9:07 PM{GEND}. SV HoldFast: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2015/07/planes-trains-and-automobiles.html
Saturday, July 11, 2015. Planes, Trains and Automobiles. We are taking more time than usual this summer to visit with family and travel around the US. Floyd Gene was generous enough to drive us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning (4:30 am) to catch a flight. Our first stop is New Mexico, where we have family members who have suffered injuries and illnesses. We help out where we are able. Whether it is help or not,. I am having fun baking. We bought my dad’s van, a Toyota Sienna. If we talk of ...

That was our best stay ever (to nearly quote Sponge Bob) at Lee Stocking Island. The weather cooperated such that we could circumnavigate many of the surrounding islands in our dinghy and explore to our hearts content. It was quite a workout but a beautiful snorkeling view of fish in the mangroves on the drift out. Hugging Hana I now call her.

SV HoldFast: Belhaven - Free Dock
http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2015/05/belhaven-free-dock.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Belhaven - Free Dock. It is a good walk to town from these docks. We are thinking about getting fuel at River Forest Marina in the morning, therefore it will not be a very early morning. We went in town to eat. We like to support the restaurants in the towns that give us free docks, encourage them to keep on doing it! Love to all,. GMST}35°32.53N 076°37.82W 5/6/2015 7:46 PM{GEND}. Posted by HOLD FAST. SV HoldFast: November 2014
http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. I forgot to mention last night, especially to our cruising friends, that the USCG put out a Notice to Mariners that buoys 4, 5, 6 and 7 for the St. Augustine Inlet are off station, in other words, out of place or gone. I was reminded of that notice at 5:30 am when I heard the USCG talking on channel 16 to a sailboat that had gone aground in the inlet (the name of the boat was ‘Indulgence’). On the radio, BoatUS called it a salvage operation. Yep, we eat well aboard Hold Fast.

SV HoldFast: April 2015
http://svholdfast.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. Myron had been up since 2:30 am, when the anchorage got unpleasant. We lit out of there at 6:30 this morning, which we would have done even if we adored the place. We were trying to catch a half tide or better along Jekyll Island. Just north of the bridge near the Historical Marina, the depths are spooky at low tide. Love to all,.
