I've gone twice for their Thursday special fish tacos. But since then, they have decided to make them an every day item on their menu, which is great news. Thursday, April 29, 2010. We just got back from lunch at Taqueria Mercado. It just opened downtown on 8th and Walnut in the past week and has replaced another good mexican restaurant Javiers. I had never heard of this restaurant, but I know some of my co-workers have eaten at this place before but at a different location. The biggest difference between this place and Javiers is that Taqueria Mercado. Is a sit down and order restaurant instead of ordering at the counter as soon as you walked in.

Wednesday, May 19, 2010. We stopped in Atlanta for a night on our way down to Florida. I booked a hotel in downtown Atlanta so we could be close to the Zoo and so we could experience the downtown experience and walk around and hopefully find a good restaurant to eat. That is how we landed at Ted's Montana Grill. And thank goodness we did. The whole experience was great, the best experience we had at a restaurant the entire trip. Thursday, June 16, 2011. New Orleans to Go. New Orleans to Go is my new favorite restaurant. It has it all, great food, amazing atmosphere and the best customer service. I have been there back to back weeks now, they usually come downtown Wednesday-Friday every week. You can follow them on twitter. To know exactly where they are or where they will be on any given day. I saw one tweet saying that they will soon be going to Eden Park on Sunday's for brunch, I can't wait to try that out with my family.

Saturday, May 12, 2012. If you haven't been there yet, you have to go. Mad Mike's is one of my new favorite burger places. It's up there with Terry's and City View Tavern good. The best way to describe it is to think of a bigger and fresher Five Guys burger. It is plenty of food and definitely plenty of fries but the burger is so much juicier and more flavorful than Five Guys. It is located in Florence and it is worth a trip down!
