Wednesday, January 31, 2007. No surf as I've been down south boardless on business for the past four days. Oddly enough the weather felt a lot like San Francisco is supposed to feel this time of year. It's nice to be back but the massive tide swing will be making it hard to surf the next couple days. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. These shots are from the photoshoot I did with my friend Lae. He's an Oakland hip-hop musician, and he needed some shots for his promo and press pieces. I'm pretty stoked with how they turned out. I attempted to do a bright high contrast shot at a playground prior to this, but I found that these embody my style and the softer quality of light I like to achieve in my portraits more.
