Bushmania: February 2013
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Hanging out with Matt. I don't think I've mentioned on here that Robert has a super cute 7 year old son named Matt. I thought I'd post about two of our recent activites with him. Matt just got some baseball equipment for his birthday, so we took it out to the park for some practice. Here's Robert showing him how to line up the bat and the ball. We only played with the tee for a bit. We did some pitching and had a great time. Here's some of the action! When I opened it up, th...

Bushmania: Parent Visit
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2013/11/parent-visit.html
Wednesday, November 6, 2013. My parents also wanted to come see our new place so after a few days in Idaho, we headed out for a road trip back to Texas. Of course, Mormon bridge was involved. We stopped in Salt Lake City to visit one of my very best friends - Allie and her family. We got to see her husband Brett on his way out and had fun with Allie and her cute kiddos. Allie even fed us dinner. Too sweet! I hadn't seen her little guy before! It was great to see so much family in a short amount of time.

Bushmania: June 2012
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Today I had the most amazing lunch ever! Brad at work and his wife Elizabeth told me about this food truck. That often parks outside their subdivision that was really good. They got Jake addicted to the point that he follows them on FB. And Twitter to see where they'll be. Today he saw they were fairly near our work so he headed out to pick us up some food. I got a Bolillo. You can read below for the details but it was AMAZING! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Bushmania: November 2012
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 18, 2012. On Wednesday nights I work at the temple and usually stay at Katherine's house afterward so I don't have to drive all the way home and all the way back the next day for work. I park in the street in front of her house where her roommates park and we've never had a problem. Thursday morning when I went out to get in my car and head to work, I was shocked to see this sight! My windshield was almost completely shattered and had a huge hole in it! Last weekend I took a trip out to ...

Sunday, June 23, 2013. Two weeks after we were married, we had another reception in Austin. It was at Robert's sister Marcia's house. She had this cute box for cards. We had an ice cream bar and it was really good! They did cupcakes instead of a cake. The arrangement was really cute. Matt had fun playing with his cousin Kelly while we were getting ready and helping to set up a little. Scott and Russell made some homemade rootbeer that was delicious. I thought this was a cute shot of Scott and Cynde.

Bushmania: April 2012
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2012. I just had a couple of random things to share from this week. Anyway, the plans are to have an endoscopy which sort of freaks me out. It should be okay, though, and it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I get it done this coming Friday! Saturday I did some yard work and when I was done and had everything cleaned up, it looked like I had redecorated my garage. Kind of pretty, but I CAN'T WAIT for trash pick up tomorrow morning because . . Of course I had my annual birthday cheesecake...

Bushmania: Idaho Visit
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2013/11/idaho-visit.html
Wednesday, November 6, 2013. One good thing about being in between jobs is unlimited vacation time! My parents are so great! They had some extra miles with Southwest and the flew me out to visit them and my sister and her family. One of the first orders of business was to head out to the corn maze. I had lost of fun taking pictures of my cute little nieces! Both of them have changed so much since the wedding even! Evie's fake smiles are still so cute. She can talk so well and is so funny! Of course Mormo...

Monday, April 8, 2013. I have to brag about one of my amazing friends. Katherine is SUPER tough and sporty. She decided to stretch herself and try a 1/2 Ironman. I was at her house the other day and she asked for my assistance in helping her try on and decide between two wet suits. Well, I did more than help. Like any good friend, I pulled out the camera for these shenanigans! This was choice #1. It was really hard to get on. Choice number 2 was worse, but was SUPER hard to get OFF! It was my job to use ...

Bushmania: December 2012
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 26, 2012. The past couple of months I've been doing some quilting with one of the clients of The Chappell Group. She's so good and has made some amazing quilts! Here she's showing some of the fabrics she's gotten recently. She sews everything by hand which is very different for me. She's very precise and detail oriented which I like. I'm making an "I-Spy" quilt. There are lots of dark ones around the outside and it gradually gets lighter as it goes in. I hope I can get this quilt done!

Bushmania: September 2012
http://bushmangirls.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 22, 2012. Parent Visit and TILING! FYI - this is going to be a play by play of the shower transformation with a few other fun things thrown in, so if home renovation doesn't interest you, you may want to move quickly through this post! Step 1 was to take off the door/glass walls to the shower. My dad was slowly prying off tiles, but it was taking a long time. He found it was much quicker to beat them with a hammer. My dad taped and mudded the seams between the edges of the backer board.
