http://localnewengland.blogspot.com/2009/06/borsarihow-do-i-love-you.html
How does YOUR garden grow? Thursday, June 18, 2009. Borsari. How Do I Love You? Let me count the ways. I love you on grilled, roasted and stir fried veggies. I love you in my homemade sauce. I love you in salads. I love to use you as a rub on pork, chicken and beef. (I imagine you would add the perfect touch to fish.). As an added perk to my love affair with Borsari.I discovered last night that it is produced by a former "neighbor" (I use the term loosely. He lived on the other end of the road I g...Julie...

http://localnewengland.blogspot.com/2012/08/easy-peasy-peach-croissants.html
How does YOUR garden grow? Saturday, August 18, 2012. Easy Peasy Peach Croissants. I'm almost embarrassed to post this recipe it's so easy. Almost. But it's SO good and the end results are SO pretty to look at I can't resist! This is another recipe from the Savory Sweet Life. Roll the puff pastry sheet out on a lightly floured surface and cut into four equal square pieces by cutting the sheet in half vertically and horizontally. Take one square of puff pastry and rotate it so it looks like a diamond&...

From my days as a Patch food writer). I've added it to grilled goat cheese and veggie pitas. I had pulled this recipe. Out of a Taste of Home magazine, but just found it on All...

How does YOUR garden grow? Monday, June 17, 2013. Wicked Awesome Thai Peanut Sauce. Hey, take a look at this! It's maple syrup from the incomparable Ben's Sugar Shack. I won a contest on their facebook page to share an interesting recipe idea using their maple syrup. Of course I entered Wicked Awesome Thai Peanut Sauce. This is a recipe I originally developed a few years back when I was writing a local cooking column. 4 Tablespoons soy sauce. 4 Tablespoon maple syrup. 2 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar.

How does YOUR garden grow? Monday, November 18, 2013. Mom's Split Pea Soup. Don't have a picture.I'm posting this for my friend over at The Greening of Westford. It's a really delicious split pea soup, perfect for those long lazy weekend days. Total cooking time is 4 hours, but total working time is about 15 minutes, so it's really an easy soup to make when you're going to be around to stir every once in a while. 1 ham hock (or any ham is fine, though the bone in the ham hock really adds flavor). Add car...

How does YOUR garden grow? Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Give me a P(ea)! One of the rites of summer in my house is to make risotto with the first farm-fresh pint of shell peas in our CSA share (I've also been known to break down and use sugar snap peas - you can read about that here. Another favorite summertime combo is snow peas and pasta tossed with peanut sauce. (Okay, I would eat liver if it was doused in peanut sauce.what's your point? Last week, the pickin' was good at Holiday Brook Farm. One 13.5...

How does YOUR garden grow? Sunday, July 24, 2011. Blueberry cake with streusel topping. I love blueberry season. My kids love to go blueberry picking. I love to go blueberry picking. We pick TONS, and freeze them to use all year long. While we were recently out of town, my mother-in-law stopped in to check our mail for us. While she was here, she left a section she'd pulled out of the Boston Globe about blueberry cakes. Hmm, I'm game! I followed the recipe exactly, so I'll just include a link here. Branc...
