Passengers can travel from Caernarfon through to Blaenaw Ffestniog. 40miles for narrow gauge steam. 8220;The journey takes about an hour, but you won’t be on the train for most of the time! Walking and Bird watching. Walking and Bird watching. Walk the Llŷn Peninsula coastal path (50 years as a area of outstanding natural beauty). It’s 95 miles long and takes approximately 7 days. The terrain is coastal (coves, beaches, cliffs and hills). Spot bottle nosed dolphins and Atlantic grey seals. There are many wading birds in the Glaslyn estury and the Glaslyn Ospreys are famous. There is an RSPB viewing centre at Pont Croesor manned by staff and volunteers in the summer months. Tel: 07966 197 512.
