Tuesday, August 23, 2011. First day of KINDERGARTEN! Jackson's first day of kindergarten was a success! He was so ready this morning when he woke up. He told me he was going to meet some new friends, go to recess, eat lunch in a cafeteria, etc. On Sunday we made sure that we had all of his clothes picked out for the week. This is something we are going to continue for the rest of the year. So far (after one day) it has been a great system! It was an easy, fun day! He is ready to go back tomorrow. Yay!

Jackson trying to find his way out of the human maze.he was running all around and having so much fun! Jackson's new best friend.Uncle Dick. Such a happy girl. Mommy and the wiggle worms! Happpy 4th of July! Jackson making a donation to the Steamboat Firefighters at the 4th of July Parade. The fireworks were loud! Such a big boy.

It's hard to believe they are almost 2 1/2 years and 9 months old! Tyler and I were watching a video of himself from last year and it seemed like it was just yesterday! He's quite fascinated with letters and counting, too. As you know, he has always loved his books, but he really seems to recognize a lot more letters and numbers than I thought! The bigger, the better!

We have a contract on a really nice 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom house in Harper's Landing. Our tentative move date is April 28 th. But we are going to try and move it up if everyone is agreeable. It is going to be so nice for the boys to have their own room and a huge game room. For lots of Rockband. Having the house up for sale is so stressful! Can't wait to see the new house!

Avery will be 8 months old this week. She is crawling all over the place and has begun to pull up on a few things. She has three teeth, weighs 18 lbs and her hair is coming in red. For the last two weeks, she had a really bad ear infection that would not go away. Our favorite ENT. Making sweet eyes for mama!

We finally all got up at 6. It is so much fun to relive the excitement of Christmas with your kids. We traveled to Louisiana after Christmas to spend time with David's family and have Christmas with them. It was a lot of fun. Santa left lots of goodies! And her dad is a Caviler King Charles Spaniel. She weighs 2 lbs now at 6 weeks and should be around 10 lbs full grown. We are all in love, especially Avery. She goes around calling " Lileeeeeee. And making kissing sounds. Dawson and Caleb are learning all about taking care of a new puppy. I promise I am not putting her in the purse!

David and I forgot how crazy 3 and 4 year olds. Swinging bats around can be! Dawson is playing catcher for the 9/10 AAA Cubs. We are quickly learning how to split our time between two fields. We are also learning what is like to be at the ball field all weekend. Caleb hitting the ball for the 1st time in his 1st game.
