Thursday, February 24, 2011. Fresh from the Atlantic. For about two weeks I've really wanted to find and bring in a whole fish to photograph it. I finally went up to Todd's Seafood in Thomasville, NC and bought a Red Snapper. I set up in the cove and started shooting! Nikon D80, 105mm, 1:3, 1/2, f/25. February 24, 2011 at 2:34 PM. This turned out nicely! Im glad you finally got to photograph your fish like youd been wanting to! Did you take any that were even closer shots? Great color in this!

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. I wanted to highlight the texture on a pair of wedges that I had in my closet. Not only did they have texture in the heel, but on the canvas as well. Thursday, February 24, 2011. This past week we had to do an interview that is well known and loved by locals. Nick and I were working as a team and picked the Doak Skate Park in Thomasville, NC. We met a few cool kids there that let us interview them and photograph them. It was a fun way to spend an evening. Canon 5D MKII, 24-80mm, 1/320, f/8. March 2, 2011 at 8:04 PM. Saturday, April 16, 2011. All day today we've been watching the Weather channel, watching a huge storm come across the Carolinas. Finally, around 9 pm the storm hit us, and we had a tornado warning. My family and I even bunked down in the bathroom twice, and a tornado by-passed us to the south. Afterwards, I went outside and got some long exposures of the lightning to the south east. Nikon D3, 24-70mm, 10 seconds, f/2.8. Nope This photo was taken at 10 pm for 10 seconds. April 16, 2011 at 10:37 PM.

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. This week I decided to photograph sweets, mainly because I got so many from my boyfriend on Valentine's Day. I actually made the cupcake below as a surprise for him!
